Tiki Boat Tour

CAN I GO FOR A LONGER TOUR?
You can book two time slots and go for double the time. You must book a private tour for both slots in order to stay out on the water the entire time.

DO YOU OPERATE IN THE RAIN?
We do operate in rain, as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain may decide at any time to cancel due to weather conditions such as heavy wind or lightning.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for your tour. Parking can be difficult, so please leave ample time for your party to find parking and make it down to the dock for disembarkment. We will not wait if you are late. Our tours must leave on time.

WHAT IS THE BEHAVIORAL CODE OF CONDUCT?
You are responsible for staying under control and abiding by our behavioral agreement. If the captain determines your behavior is inappropriate, you will be removed from the tour without a refund and appropriate measures will be taken.

WHAT IF OUR TOUR IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
If Bemus Bay Water Toys LLC has to cancel the reservation due to inclement weather or any other reason, you may reschedule or receive a refund. Weather cancellations are determined only by Bemus Bay Water Toys LLC and must be inclement at our location at your specific scheduled time. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding our policy.

CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE CHARTER?
Yes. As long as you book the private tour option, you will have the tour to yourself and can bring up to 16 people on board. All guests must sign our waiver.

DO I NEED A TICKET FOR MY BABY OR KID?
Yes. Everyone on board is considered a head, and all heads must have a purchased ticket to board.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU OPERATE?
We operate seven days a week.

CAN I PAY THE DAY OF?
We recommend everyone pre-book online, as walk-up availability is never guaranteed and is hard to come by.

WHERE DO WE MEET FOR THE TOUR?
64 Lakeside Drive for check-in at the blue and white office building across the street from the lake.

WHO IS MY CAPTAIN?
All of our captains are vetted, trained, and strategically chosen based on their boating experience and knowledge of the lake. Our captains hold a Joint Pilot and Engineer’s license issued by the State of New York, which is required to charter a vessel such as the tiki boat.

SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN & DECKHAND?
Our captains and deckhands work for tips, and gratuity is greatly appreciated.

ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?
Yes. There is a Type 1 PFD available for every passenger.

HOW CAN I CHECK AVAILABILITY?

HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI GO?
The tiki cruises slowly at around 4–6 MPH.

IS THERE A WEIGHT RESTRICTION?
The weight restriction is 270 pounds per person. This applies to the stools on board.

DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD & DRINK?
We do not provide food or drink. However, you may bring your own and use the provided cooler, cups, and ice onboard.

IS THERE A BATHROOM?
Yes. There is a private bathroom facility onboard.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?
You can book anywhere from 1 to 16 guests.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Yes. Everyone on board is required to have a paid seat regardless of age. We have life preservers for everyone on board except children under 50 pounds. Children 12 and under must wear a life jacket at all times. We have three life preservers for children 12 and under who weigh over 50 pounds. If a child weighs 50 pounds or less, you must provide your own life preserver, including for babies.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Yes. Dogs are welcome on private charters as long as they have a life preserver.

CAN WE GO SWIMMING?
Unfortunately, swimming off the boat is not allowed.

CAN WE PLAY OUR MUSIC?
Yes. We have Bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone so you can play your choice of music.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
CANCELLATIONS REQUESTED 10 DAYS BEFORE BOOKING WILL BE REFUNDED. IF YOU BOOK A TOUR WITHIN 10 DAYS, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. CANCELLING YOUR RESERVATION AFTER THE 10-DAY WINDOW IS NON-REFUNDABLE. THIS INCLUDES ARRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL, ARRIVING LATE, EXCEEDING THE WEIGHT LIMIT, FORGETTING YOUR ID, NO-SHOWS, PERSONAL EMERGENCIES, OR PERSONAL MISHAPS.

WE OFFER BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TOURS ALL WEEK. PUBLIC TOURS ARE BOOKED PER PERSON AND CAN END UP WITH MIXED GROUPS. A PRIVATE TOUR IS BOOKED BY THE BOAT AT A SINGLE FEE FOR UP TO 16 PEOPLE!
